hammer spoon is the first in a collaborative series of spoons with dan dicaprio. each spoon is formed from silver with a gold circle inlayed into the bowl. each gold alloy is different giving the circles different colors that resemble tones in their handles. the handles are all found objects that wear the stories of their past; one hammer handle, one file handle and one bone. the combination of fine and found materials creates a visual dialogue that is a composite of the collaborative process. return to works
